1. How billing works
GSTPilot is prepaid. You recharge a wallet with credits, and each GSTR-1 generation deducts a fixed number of credits. There is no subscription and no auto-renewal, so there is nothing to cancel to stop being charged — simply stop recharging.
Credits do not expire.
2. When we refund
- Money was debited but credits never appeared in your wallet.
- You were charged more than once for the same recharge.
- The Service failed to generate a return because of a fault on our side and could not be made to work.
- You recharged by mistake and have not spent any of those credits — request within 7 days.
- We discontinue the Service while you hold unused recharged credits.
3. When we do not refund
- Credits already spent on generated returns. The output was delivered.
- Bonus, referral and promotional credits. These were never paid for and hold no cash value.
- A return you filed containing errors originating in the data you uploaded.
- Accounts terminated for breaching the Terms of Service.
- Dissatisfaction after substantial use, where the Service performed as described. The free trial exists so you can evaluate it before paying.
4. Failed payments and duplicate debits
If a payment fails, no credits are added and no money is captured. Banks occasionally show a pending debit that reverses on its own, usually within 5 to 7 working days.
If a debit has not reversed after 7 working days, raise a support request with the payment reference and we will trace it with Razorpay. Include the UPI reference or order id — it turns a multi-day investigation into a single lookup.
5. How to request a refund
Raise a request from Support inside the application, or write to us. Include your registered email, the payment reference or amount and approximate time, and what went wrong.
Email: support@gstpilot.in
6. Timeline
We acknowledge refund requests within 1 business day and decide within 5 business days.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through Razorpay. Once we initiate it, banks typically take a further 5 to 7 working days to credit your account. That final leg is outside our control.
